These beautiful picture was taken in Minnesota at the Mississippi river on a winter morning, just after sunrise. January 2011. Temperature was -21.

A nuclear power plant sits at the edge of the river. The Mississippi river is used to cool the rods. The water from the plant comes out hot & as a result there is a misty steam in the area that covers many trees in the area with icy mist.

When the sun risers it produces this beautiful effect.
